Pickup Procedure​

It is recommended that rentals are purchased online in advance. We cannot always guarantee sizes are available.

​

Rental forms must be picked up at the ticket office before going to the rental shop. After retrieving your rental form, follow the yellow line to the form completion area and complete all fields on the form. Wait in line and when you are at the front of the line the next available rental shop associate will retrieve and size your rental equipment.

​

At the end of your day, bring all rented equipment back to the rental shop. Rental equipment that has been rented for consecutive days must also be returned to the rental shop but can be set aside for quick pick up the next day. 

Refund Policy
There are two options if you are unable to use your pre-purchased rental equipment:

​

  1. Date Transfer​​​​ - rebook your rental to any date in the current season. Any additional charges (such as moving from a midweek date to a weekend) will be charged at the time of rebooking to the credit card used to make the original booking. The credit will expire at the end of the current season.

  2. Refundreceive a refund less booking fees charged by our online service provider and a 10% administration fee on the booking total.

To request a date transfer or a refund, send an email with your booking information including your booking number to info@sirsams.com. Requests can take up to three days to process and up to seven business days for the amount to be refunded to your credit card.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Rent A Locker?

Full size lockers are available to rent through the ticket office. Coin lockers for small valuables are located by the rental shop. Find more information about lockers here.

Is There a Half Day Rental Rate?

No, there is no half day rental rate. Reprocessing equipment remains the same regardless of how long the equipment is used on the hill.​

Can I Rent Only Poles or Only Boots?

Yes, single item rentals are available. However, when renting only boots, skis, or snowboards, it is important to remember not all equipment is interchangeable so if your equipment is unable to work with our bindings or boots in a safe manner, you may be unable to use your equipment and have to rent more items than originally intended.​

I Didn't Receive a Confirmation Email. What Do I Do?

If you see your credit card has been charged for your purchase, your online booking has been completed but your email address may have been entered incorrectly. You can call the ticket office at (705) 754-2298 ext. 210 or send an email to info@sirsams.com and we will be able to find your booking and resend your confirmation email. ​

Is Rental Equipment Refundable?

Rentals can be refunded less a 10% administration fee based on the booking total. Rentals can also be moved to another date within the current season. Email info@sirsams.com with your booking information to request a refund. See more information about our rental refund policy above.​​

Do You Rent Harnesses or Ropes?

Ropes are available for young beginners at the Snow School desk.​

Do You Rent Jackets or Snowpants?

No, Sir Sam's Ski/Ride does not rent winter apparel including jackets, snowpants, gloves, or goggles. Winter apparel items are available to purchase at the DelanSKI Sports Pro Shop.​

How Do I Change the Date I Booked My Rentals For?

Email info@sirsams.com with your booking information and the date you would like to change your rentals to. Any increases in price due to a change in date must be processed during the booking change.​​

Are Rentals Included in Lessons or Programs?

No, rentals are not including in lessons or program except for Discover Lessons. Programs may have discounted mulitday rental bundles available for purchase during the registration process.​​​

Are There Multiday Rental Discounts?

No, there are no multiday rental discounts available.​

I Booked Rentals for Consecutive Days. Can I Take Them Home Then Bring Them Back To Use?

No, all rentals regardless of if they are booked and paid for consecutive days, must be returned to the rental shop at the end of each day or when you are finished using them that day. If you have booked for consec4utive days, a rental shop associate will need to confirm the multiday rental has been paid for then they will be able to set aside your same equipment so you can grab and go quickly the next day.​​​​

​Do You Sell Used Equipment or Old Rental Equipment?

No, Sir Sam's Ski/Ride does not sell used equipment or rental equipment. At the hill, the DelanSKI Sports Pro Shop has equipment available for sale. They also sell used sporting equipment on consignment if you are looking to sell unneeded equipment that is in good condition.​

Can I Have My Equipment Tuned or Repaired at the Hill?

The rental shop can provide tune-ups including waxing and sharpening as well as minor repairs to equipment. View more information about tune-ups and repairs here.
