Policies
Online Ticket Sales
Once you complete a purchase, your credit card will be charged for the amount shown, regardless of whether or not the purchased ticket(s) is/are used. All tickets and passes are subject to the restrictions described in the product description and/or pickup instructions.

We do not guarantee weather or other conditions, open terrain, number of operating lifts, or availability of food service.
​
​Tickets are not delivered by mail. Once your purchase is confirmed, we will provide you access to an electronic voucher. You must print the voucher and present it at the ticket office to claim your tickets. The Purchaser whose name appears on the voucher must redeem the ticket(s) in person with a valid photo ID.
Cancellations & Refunds
Lift Tickets, Snowshoe Passes, Rentals, Hike Passes & Mountain Bike Passes
​There are two options if you are unable to use your pre-purchased lift tickets:

Date Transfer​​​​ - rebook your lift tickets to any date in the current season. Any additional charges (such as moving from a midweek date to a weekend) will be charged at the time of rebooking to the credit card used to make the original booking. The credit will expire at the end of the current season.

Refund - receive a refund less booking fees charged by our online service provider and a 10% administration fee on the booking total.

To request a date transfer or a refund, send an email with your booking information including your booking number to info@sirsams.com. Requests can take up to three days to process and up to seven business days for the amount to be refunded to your credit card.​

Hill Closure
If Sir Sam’s Ski/Ride is closed due to Covid or weather, all lift tickets, snowshoe passes, rentals, hike passes, and mountain bike passes will be cancelled and payments made in advance will be refunded in full. Refunds may take up to five business days to process.
Private Lessons
​Cancellations​​
Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be sent via email to snowschool@sirsams.com.

Rescheduling private lessons within 48 hours of the reservation date will incur a $20 fee per lesson.

Private lessons cancelled within 48 hours of the lesson date will incur a $25 fee per lesson.
Missed/Late Dates
Refunds and credits are unavailable if you arrive late or miss your lesson.

Hill Closures
Lessons will run as scheduled regardless of weather unless the hill is closed for all daily operations. If the hill is closed, all lessons will be cancelled. Full refunds will be returned to the credit card used to reserve the lesson. ​​​
Discover Lessons
If you cannot attend your lesson, please email snowschool@sirsams.com no later than 8:00am on the day of your lesson to let us know. We will hold your lesson credit minus a $20/person admin fee. If we receive your cancellation after 8:00am or if you are a “no show” for a lesson there will be no opportunity for a make-up lesson, credit or refund. Refunds and credits are unavailable if you arrive late for check-in or late for the start time of your lesson.
Lessons cancelled more then 48 hours prior to the start time of the booked lesson can be rescheduled for another day. A $10 rescheduling fee may apply. If you require a refund* onto a credit card, we must have a minimum of 48 hours notice and a $25/person administration fee will be charged. *Booking fees charged by our online service provider cannot be refunded.
Camps & Programs
​Cancellations​​
Cancellation requests must be sent to snowschool@sirsams.com along with your booking confirmation.

Cancellations requests made more than one week prior to the start day of the camp or program will have a $25 administration fee per enrolment applied. The remaining amount (*program fees only) will be kept as a credit within the Snow School or refunded to the credit card used to make the original booking. Rebooking to a different camp or program is subject to availability.

Cancellations made less than one week prior to the start day of the camp or program will have a $50 administration fee per enrolment applied. The remaining amount will be kept as a credit within the Snow School. No refunds will be offered. Rebooking to a different camp or program is subject to availability.

*Booking fees charged by our online service provider cannot be refunded.

Hill Closures
Camps & programs will run as scheduled regardless of weather unless the hill is closed for all daily operations. If the hill is closed:

Multiday camps may reschedule the missed day to the day after the last day of camp if possible. If you are unable to attend a make-up date, a pro-rated credit or refund will be provided through the Snow School.

Multiweek programming will provide a pro-rated credit or refund through the Snow School.​​​
Season Passes
Refund Policy​
Cancellation requests must be sent to info@sirsams.com. Booking confirmation must be included in the cancellation request. Season passes that have been picked up must be returned to the ticket office for any credit to be considered.

Cancellation requests received prior to December 1st, 2025 will be refunded in full less a $50.00 administration fee.

Cancellations due to valid medical reasons from December 1st to February 1st will be issued as a prorated Sir Sam's credit less a $50.00 administration fee. The prorated amount will be calculated based on the date the email cancellation request was received.

Forgotten Pass Policy​
If you have forgotten your season pass, visit the ticket office to receive a day pass. For families, the passholder that has forgotten their pass must be present to receive the ticket.

Lost/Broken Pass Policy​
If you have lost or broken your season pass, visit the ticket office as passes are often found and turned in. If your pass has not been turned in, a daily ticket will be provided, however if your pass is not found after two visits, a reprinting fee of $20 (plus HST) will be charged and your pass will be reprinted.

Pass Confiscation Policy​
Sir Sam's management has the authority to confiscate a season pass. Passes can be confiscated for the reasons including but not limited to:

Breaking the alpine responsibility code

Behaviour that endangers the safety of others

Deliberate intent to cause harm or injury

Sharing of a season pass

Abuse of the forgotten or lost pass policies​
Books of Eight
Refund Policy​
Cancellation requests must be sent to info@sirsams.com. Booking confirmation must be included in the cancellation request. Refunds will only be considered if the book or eight has not been picked up and at the discretion of management. Unused vouchers can be used in the following season for a $10 flat-rate charge per voucher (paid at the time of redemption). For vouchers purchased more than one season ago, each subsequent season will also be charged at $10.​

Lost or Forgotten Vouchers
Vouchers/books will not be replaced or refunded if lost, damaged or stolen. Original vouchers must be exchanged for lift tickets. Photocopies, pictures or other forms will not be accepted. If you have forgotten your vouchers and are therefore unable to hand them into the ticket office, you will have to purchase your lift ticket at the posted daily rate.

Other Terms & Conditions​

Voucher(s) must be exchanged in person on the day of your visit for one lift ticket each at equal or lesser value as printed on the voucher. No change or credit will be given if a voucher is redeemed for a lift ticket of lesser value than the voucher.

Vouchers are transferrable and may be used on any operating day of the winter season. Not all vouchers need to be used at once.

Offer is valid until expiry date printed on the vouchers. Vouchers can be used in following seasons for the applicable surcharge as noted in the book of eight cancellation policy.

Each voucher is for one-time use only.
