Access 2 Card Program

Sir Sam's Ski/Ride is a participating venue of the Easter Seals Access 2 Card Program.

About Access 2

The Access 2 Card is for people of all ages and types of permanent disabilities who require the assistance of a support person. A support person is an adult who accompanies a person with a permanent disability to assist with services that are not provided by the employees at the participating venue.

Using Your Access 2 Card

Purchase one lift ticket for the cardholder (online or at the ticket office). When picking up your ticket at the ticket office, present your Access 2 card to receive one free lift ticket for a support person. There are no discounts on rental equipment with the Access2 card.

Adaptive Lessons

Adaptive lessons are available through the Snow School and are taught by CADS certified instructors. Accessible ski equipment is available during the lesson if necessary. Adaptive lessons accommodate the needs of physically or cognitively impaired skiers. Adaptive skiing places the emphasis on the skier’s capabilities rather than any limitations.

Private Lessons

Private adaptive lessons are bookable in advance through the Snow School. For more information about adaptive private lessons or to book an adaptive lesson, send an email to snowschool@sirsams.com or call (705) 754-2298 ext. 220. General information about private lessons can be found here.

School Groups

Students requiring an adaptive lesson can often be accommodated during a school visit. When booking your visit, please indicate that an adaptive lesson is required to ensure that a CADS certified instructor is reserved for your group.
