Beginner Area
The beginner area on Easy Street is perfect for our newest skiers and riders or those that need a few practice runs before embarking on the chairlift. Within the beginner area, there is a handle tow lift which allows skiers and riders to experience a mild incline before embarking onto the conveyor lift for the next stage in their skiing or snowboarding skill progression. All lift tickets provide access to the beginner area and its lifts. The beginner area ticket restricts access to the handle tow lift and bottom conveyor lift.​ Beginner area tickets can be upgraded to full hill access tickets at the ticket office.

All visitors must have a valid lift ticket and be wearing full ski or snowboard equipment to be anywhere on the hill including in the beginner area.​​

Picking Up Lift Tickets
Lift tickets must be picked up at the ticket office on the day of your visit. For online purchases, have your booking information printed or available digitally on your device for quick ticket pick up. Book any required rentals online too to speed through the check-in process!​​​

Half Day Lift Tickets

Morning lift tickets are valid until 12:30pm and can be picked up anytime after the ticket office opens. They can be upgraded to full day tickets at the ticket office.

Afternoon lift tickets are valid starting at 1pm and can be picked up at the ticket office starting at 12:45pm. They can be upgraded to full day tickets if you arrive early and want to hit the slopes right away.

Staying at Slopeside Accommodations?
Visitors will need to obtain a lift ticket from the ticket office prior to using the hill. If you are part of a larger group, you are welcome to send a representative to the chalet with all pre-booking confirmations to pick up lift tickets.

There are two options if you are unable to use your pre-purchased lift tickets:
- 
Date Transfer​​​​ - rebook your lift tickets to any date in the current season. Any additional charges (such as moving from a midweek date to a weekend) will be charged at the time of rebooking to the credit card used to make the original booking. The credit will expire at the end of the current season. 
- 
Refund - receive a refund less booking fees charged by our online service provider and a 10% administration fee on the booking total.

To request a date transfer or a refund, send an email with your booking information including your booking number to info@sirsams.com. Requests can take up to three days to process and up to seven business days for the amount to be refunded to your credit card.​

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the Hill Open?
The chairlift operates Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 4:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Over the holiday break (when elementary and secondary students are out of school on winter break), March Break, and on Family Day weekend the hill is open 9:00am to 4:30pm every day (including Mondays). The hill will be closed only on December 25th over the holiday break.

Do I Need a Lift Ticket If I Am Taking a Lesson or in a Program?
​Yes, you will need a valid lift ticket or season pass if you are in a lesson or program. Lift tickets are only included in Discover Lessons. Lift tickets are not included in private lessons or other program registration (such as camps or multi-week programs). Programs may have discounted lift ticket bundles available for purchase during the registration process.

Do I Need A Lift Ticket If I Want to Help My Child on the Beginner Hill?
Yes. All visitors must have a valid lift ticket and be in full ski or snowboard equipment to be on the hill. For everyone's safety, foot traffic is prohibited. You can review the winter safety and risk awareness information for an overview of our winter safety policies. If you have a beginner skier or snowboarder who requires assistance, you can contact the Snow School and book a lesson as our instructors are able to accommodate all ages and abilities.​

I Didn't Receive a Confirmation Email For My Online Purchase. What Do I Do?
If you see your credit card has been charged for your purchase, your online booking has been completed but your email address may have been entered incorrectly. You can call the ticket office at (705) 754-2298 ext. 210 or send an email to info@sirsams.com and we will be able to find your booking and resend your confirmation email. ​​​

Can I Use a Gift Card to Purchase Online?
​Physical black and white gift cards can only be used for Sir Sam's Ski/Ride purchases directly at the chalet including for food items in our cafeteria or restaurant. They cannot be used to purchase items online or at the DelanSKI Sports Pro Shop at this time.​

How Do I Change the Date I Booked My Tickets For?
​Email info@sirsams.com with your booking information and the date you would like to change your tickets to. Any increases in price due to a change in date will be processed during the booking change.​

How Do I Redeem A Promo Code?
Promo codes must be used online. When booking, enter your promo code for each customer before you add the item to the cart by selecting the "add promo or discount code" line on each customer. You ​may have to scroll down the page to see the promo code option.​​

Does Sir Sam's Ski/Ride Accept the SnowStart Kidz Pass?
​Yes, SnowStart Kidz passes can be used in conjunction with a paying adult. To redeem a SnowStart Kidz pass ticket, you must book your visit online through the link in your confirmation email you received when you signed up for the program. Show your confirmation barcode at the ticket office to pick up your lift ticket. The program is run and operated through a third party company, any booking changes or adjustments must be made through them. Learn more about the SnowStart Kidz pass here.

Does Sir Sam's Ski/Ride Accept Access2 Card?
Yes, Access2 cards are accepted at the ticket office. The support person will receive a free lift ticket for the day while the cardholder will have to pay for their ticket. There are no discounts on rental equipment with the Access2 card. View more information about the Access2 program here.​
