Enjoy a group lesson for first-timers or progress your skills. Available for ages 7+ and includes a lift ticket and rentals.

Discover Ski Lessons
Other Information:​

  • Bookable online only

  • Available for ages 7+

  • Discover 1 lessons start at 10:30 am or 1pm each day

  • *If there are 2 or less participants in the class, lessons will only be 1 hour in length

Rates are subject to HST and online booking fee.

Includes:​

  • A two-hour* group lesson

  • A full ski rental package (skis, boots, helmet)

  • A beginner area lift ticket (all day access)

Discover Skiing - Level 1
$120/person

  • Provides an introduction to skiing

  • Suited to people on skis for the first time or are not yet comfortable on skis​​

Includes:​

  • A two-hour* group lesson

  • A full ski rental package (skis, boots, helmet, poles)

  • A half day lift ticket

​

Other Information:​

  • Bookable online only

  • Available for ages 7+

  • Discover Level 2 lessons start at 1:00 pm each day​   

  • Anyone who does not meet the minimum skill requirements for this lesson will not be able to participate - in this case, no refund will be provided

  • *If there are 2 or less participants in the class, lessons will only be 1 hour in length.​

Discover Skiing - Level 2

$165/person

  • Designed for skiers who are comfortable on their equipment

  • Participant should be able to stop confidently, get up on their own and is learning to progress with turning ​

Discover Snowboard Lessons
Includes:​

  • A two-hour* group lesson

  • A full snowboard rental package (board, boots, helmet)

  • A beginner area lift ticket (all day access)

  • Suited to people on a snowboard for the first time or are not yet comfortable on a snowboard​​

Discover Snowboarding - Level 2

$165/person

  • Designed for snowboarders who are comfortable on their equipment

  • Participant should be able to stop confidently, get up on their own and is learning to progress with turning ​

Discover Lesson Check-In Information

On the day of your lesson, proceed directly to the Snow School on the chalet lower-level to check-in for your lesson and collect your lift ticket and rentals. Check your confirmation email to confirm your lesson start time after booking.

 

Plan to arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to your lesson start time to get through the rental shop and to your lesson on time. Anyone checking in at the Snow School desk after 10:00am for a 10:30am lesson or after 12:30pm for a 1pm lesson may risk not being able to participate in the lesson. If you check-in but do not meet your group at the meeting area at your lesson start time, you will be unable to participate in the lesson.

Discover Lesson Refund Policy

If you cannot attend your lesson, please email snowschool@sirsams.com no later than 8:00am on the day of your lesson to let us know. We will hold your lesson credit minus a $20/person admin fee. If we receive your cancellation after 8:00am or if you are a “no show” for a lesson there will be no opportunity for a make-up lesson, credit or refund. Refunds and credits are unavailable if you arrive late for check-in or late for the start time of your lesson.


Lessons cancelled more then 48 hours prior to the start time of the booked lesson can be rescheduled for another day. A $10 rescheduling fee may apply. If you require a refund* onto a credit card, we must have a minimum of 48 hours notice and a $25/person administration fee will be charged. *Booking fees charged by our online service provider cannot be refunded.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Upgrade a Beginner Area Lift Ticket After a Discover 1 Lesson to a Full Hill Access Ticket?

Yes. Beginner area lift tickets can be upgraded at the ticket office or Snow School desk after a Discover lesson. The upgrade cost is $25/person.

Can I Upgrade a Half Day Lift Ticket for a Discover 2 Lesson to a Full Day Ticket?

Yes. Half day lift tickets included in a Discover 2 lesson can be picked up early and upgraded to a full day lift ticket. The upgrade must be done at the Snow School desk. The upgrade cost is $10/person.

Can I Get a Discount If I Don't Need Rental Equipment?

No. Discover lessons are set at a bundled price to include the lift ticket, lesson, and rental equipment. You can decline rental equipment at check-in if it is unneeded.​
