Private Lessons

Private lessons must be booked through the Snow School via email (snowschool@sirsams.com) or
over the phone (705-754-2298 ext. 220). All participants are expected to have a valid ticket for the duration of their lesson. Prices shown do not include lift tickets, rentals, HST or applicable fees.

A private lesson is customized for you, providing you with a greater ability to learn. Extend your private lesson experience and book a series of lessons with the same instructor. The relationship you build with your instructor over multiple lessons will help you reach your goals sooner.
All Sir Sam’s instructors are certified with the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance, the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors, the Canadian Freestyle Association and/or Alpine Ontario.

Ages 7+
Our experienced pros will provide you with focused attention on the development of your ski or
snowboard skills with a one-on-one approach. A semi-private lesson for up to 3 people is also available.

To ensure a successful lesson, please ensure all participants are of a similar ability level.
Advanced lessons are offered for confident skiers and boarders looking to refine their skills and begin tackling the terrain park.

Merry Mites (Ages 3-6)
For our youngest soon-to-be skiers/boarders. One-on-one attention provides the best instruction possible, ensuring they progress at their own pace. Our Snow Pros understand the uncertainty that comes with learning new things; they coax, encourage and care for your little one every step of the way. Ages 3-6 are not eligible to participate in semi-private lessons.

Parent & Tot Lessons

One of our expert instructors will teach you how to safely ski with your child. This lesson is for children aged 3 to 6 and requires that the adult is already a proficient skier (adult must be on skis). You'll learn how to use a rope system with your little one and our instructor will advise you on how to teach your child to ski like a pro. This one hour lesson is for one parent and one tot and is for skiing instruction only.
